Basically,
this website is the latest version of my resume
. I am also the one who developed it and wrote all its contents; although nothing of this is part of my core expertise, of what should matter most when assessing my suitability to work on a certain project. The main parts of this web-based resume are the following:
- The kind of stuff I do.
- My principles.
- How I work and related peculiarities.
- My practical and theoretical background.
- My preferred technologies and public work samples.
- My expectations.
- My current and past situation as a self-employed software programmer.
- My relevant non-technical skills.
- How to get in touch with me.
- varocarbas.com, my other website, which currently contains a to-the-point summary and some personal stuff.
Note that I am not including references to, for example, my work experience before becoming a self-employed programmer, but that was long time ago and only partially related (or not at all, in some cases) to my software development activity. Similar ideas should be applied to other missing bits: all that really matters is already in there. In case of doubt, you could give a shot at the most reliable way to know anything about myself (asking me directly!).
